These rattles (elephant and lion) are so colorful and easily catch the 2 month old baby's attention. He's not old enough to grasp these yet but when put in front of him he is entertained. They are very soft - when he is old enough to hold them they won't hurt if hit in the face. The rattle is in the plastic at bottom of animal and has a nice sound.
