as another reviewer mentioned, the d navy is darker irl than in the pics. which i don’t mind because i want a darker wash. i’m 5’4”, 139lbs and purchased the medium. it’s a little snug around my waist and a little loose around the legs. if i got small im sure it would be too tight around the waist though these do feel stretchy.

These shorts have a nice stretch to them. The inseam gives modest coverage and the waist has a nice rise as well. They are very comfortable.
